A unique feature of the Mount Nittany Health Golf Classic is the random drawing of one registered golfer's name for a grand prize of $10,000 or a Chevrolet Cobalt. Proceeds from this year’s Golf Classic will benefit a new technology, Bronchial Thermoplasty, to treat patients with severe asthma. This three-week procedure has been successful in reducing the frequency of asthma attacks and emergency department visits and hospitalizations for severe respiratory distress, and maintaining improved respiratory function for at least two years.
