Chefs on Stage
Since its inception in 2002, Chefs on Stage, sponsored by State College Magazine, has donated nearly $250,000 to the State College community. From March of Dimes, Centre Volunteers in Medicine and State College Area Family YMCA to this year’s beneficiary, Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania, Chefs on Stage benefits those who are in need.
Part of what makes this premiere fundraising and social event successful is the involvement of so many wonderful businesses, clubs, organizations, and individuals. All proceeds from State College Magazine’s Chefs on Stage or COS will go to help support Easter Seals’ programs
Beneficiaries are chosen based on many factors, most importantly, their needs.
This year’s beneficiary was Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania. Its mission is to provide exceptional service to ensure that all people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to live, learn, work and play in Centre County. A contribution to Easter Seals will continue the efforts to help children and adults achieve their full potential, regardless of their ability to pay.
Specifically, the funds raised through Chefs on Stage will help to support
the ongoing efforts of Easter Seals’ Child Development Center located in
State College.
