CVIM Cycling for Care -- Benifit Ride -- June, 20, 2009 : This was the first annual “CVIM Cycling for Care” bike ride in Centre County! This was not only be a landmark event for the Centre region bicycling community, but also raised much needed funds for Centre Volunteers in Medicine, which has been providing free medical and dental care to our region since 2003.

Centre Volunteers In Medicine --2009 Give Kids A Smile Day - May 8, 2009 : On Friday, May 8, 2009 CVIM hosted Give Kids a Smile Day along with partners Pediatric Dental Care and Nittany Eye Associates! The extraordinary
event provides free dental and vision services to up to 100 qualifying Centre County children.

According to Dr. Heather Raymond, CVIM Dental Director, “Often at the GKAS event each year, we see many of the same children, and I can tell you
that the improvements that we are seeing from year to year in these kids’ oral health are truly some cases, no cavities on these kids!!”

Centre Volunteers In Medicine -- Volunteer Recognition Dinner – 10-24-08

Battle Of The Minds -- October 10, 2008 : Centre Volunteers in Medicine held a fund raising dinner at the Nittany Lion Inn in State College, PA. The State College Rotary Club was a co-sponsor of the fund raiser. The theme of the evening was a " Battle of the Minds ". The game was a trivia contest and the winning team was from Mount Nittany Medical Center.

The night was a total success with everyone having a good time. At the end of the evening the dinner raised approximately $55,000 for Centre Volunteers in Medicine

CVIM - Thanks For Giving November 30, 2007 : On November 30, 2007, after one year of planning, the Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) and the Rotary Club of State College raised over $120,000 toward the operation of their medical facility serving needy people in the Centre Region. The event entitled, "Thanks for Giving" honored Ellen and Lance Shaner as major donors to CVIM.
